Prerequisites: Some prior throwing and hand-building experience, ages 14+
Dive into the fascinating art of Raku, where you will learn about the ancient oriental firing process that produces rich and varied surfaces using sawdust and leaves! Jim will share tricks of creating these unique surfaces techniques using a variety of methods including carving, taping, and more! The class will conclude with an outdoor firing!
