March 13, 2013 McKnight foundation awarded a two-year $110,000 grant to the Paramount Theatre and Visual Arts Center. The McKnight Foundation grant will allow the Paramount to open an auxiliary exhibition space in the Regency Building, 912 West St. Germain in downtown St Cloud and support the continuation and expansion of the Paramount’s public art program. “Gallery St Germain” will feature Minnesota artists who demonstrate a high level of professional achievement. The Gallery St. Germain will be open during the March 15th Art Crawl. About The McKnight Foundation The McKnight Foundation seeks to improve the quality of life for present and future generations through grantmaking, collaboration, and encouragement of strategic policy reform. In 2012, the Minnesota-based family foundation had assets of approximately $2 billion and granted about $85 million. Of that total, about 10% went to support an environment in which artists are valued leaders in our community, with access to the resources and opportunities they need to succeed.
