Want to know more about the music business?  Register here for two FREE open panels/Q&A with Jeremy Messersmith, Caroline Smith, Heather Allen from CMAB, Red House Records and more! These two panels will include discussion on making music a sustainable career, grant writing for individual artists, how to tour/promote your music independently, songwriting, music business, and any questions from the audience.  These two panels are completely free, but you still must register below so that we know you are coming!  Both events will be held at the Paramount.  You may register for one, or both of these FREE events below (just fill out the registration form below!)

Free Workshop 1: Making Music a Sustainable Career

Description:

Join us for a free discussion/Q&A with a panel including Caroline Smith (Caroline Smith & the Goodnight Sleeps), Heather Allen from CMAB,  and Allen Stanley of Red House Records.  This event is moderated by Chris Osgood (Springboard for the Arts, McNally Smith College and part of the seminal rock group Suicide Commandos). The panel will discuss grant opportunities for independent musicians. the pros and cons of finding a record label, how to tour/promote your music independently and answer any questions from the audience.
