Chic Gamine

Winnipeg/Montreal-based vocal quintet Chic Gamine has been
serenading its audiences since 2007.  With a solo percussionist as their
main musical support, Chic Gamine use their voices as instruments,
creating intricate string arrangements, bass-heavy rhythm sections and
lush harmonies.  Gospel, Soul, R'n'B, 50s Doo-Wop, Brazilian forro and
French Chanson are infused into voices and rhythms.  And the whole
is liberally doused with the most absolute, happy-go-lucky impulsiveness
unique to Chic Gamine.

George Maurer Jazz Group

Maurer has been called Minnesota’s premier jazz pianist and gained acclaim

with the George Maurer Jazz Group and Trio as well as his collaborations

with vocalists.  His 2006 commission to produce original music for the

Saint Paul City Ballet’s performance “Enticed” allowed him to set

classic ballet to jazz, impressing audiences and drawing critical praise.   

George has also been called upon to arrange and produce music for

an incredible diversity of projects, from pop rock to gospel choir.
