Learn how to create beautiful transparency weaving, which allow light to shine though your designs as the piece is displayed. The easy to weave project, which uses a tapestry in-lay technique, produces fantastic results, which are as unique as the artist that creates them. Materials covered in the cost of tuition. Some prior weaving experience preferred, ages 14+

This class is a great introduction to working with Procion Fiber Reactive Dyes with little mess and fuss! Learn how to mix powder dyes to create a 12 spectrum color wheel for use on cotton fabrics. We will also explore the techniques for dyeing color bridges to see how complementary color schemes work together when using procion dyes. You will leave with 32 newly dyes fabrics that you can use for your textile projects and quilts! Materials supplied by students. No prior experience necessary, ages 14+
